nuthin much

Not much to report. We ended up with about 7 inches of snow when all was said and done. The winds kicked up last night and has continued through out today. Making some areas close to bare and others spots drifts up to your thigh. Got the John Deere out and plowed the driveways to our and my parents place. It is really bright and sunny out. The wind though is steady at 20- 30 mph so it makes it unpleasant to be out for long. Humans that is...NOT Border Collies!

I really get a kick out of them running full tilt and hitting a snowdrift at warp speed. They grind right through them but for that intitial moment of contact. Chasing each other, rolling, plowing under and through drifts. Grabbing the random stick (or in Bracken's case, the biggest tree limb she can manage ) playing , playing , playing. Ages from 8 months to almost eleven years old. You can't tell old dog from young out there in the snow.  Life is all good when your a Border Collie.
