This is my old ewe '99 . She is one of two sheep that are the last off my very first four sheep. She has been a good sheep over the years. Never a bother, had been good to work dogs on, always twins at lambing
It is interesting to me to look at what one can do with their breeding program in just a few generations.
Here is one one '99's daughters . A Cheviot ram is her sire .
Here is the daughter of this ewe, again to a Cheviot Ram
And this is the lamb off this ewe this year.
The sheep got to grass today. It is nice and lush and ready to be eaten. Everyone was head down in it's splendor
The flock has caught wind of my battle with the Multi Floral Rose (you just can't keep anything from them ) and I saw a few of the lambs hoping for brownie points in working on the problem
